I'm new to grinding coffee, so I began a search of these appliances at Amazon.com and came upon this particular model. Since I only drink coffee a couple of times a week, I didn't need a "heavy duty" grinder that could prepare enough grounds for 100 cups. I read the reviews and took a chance. I've only used it around 4 or 5 times, but I'm really impressed with it so far. I took the advice of one of the reviewers and purchased a good, nylon brush to clean out the grounds. It's a well made, sturdy appliance that anyone could use. It's easy on the wallet and doesn't take up much space on my kitchen counter. I recommend it highly.
